I get nearly 11 Mexican "bucks" for one US buck.

So? You can get about 110 Japanese "bucks" for one US buck. The ratio of foreign currency to US currency is not the important thing. You can get 2 US bucks for one Latvian "buck", so do you want to be more like the Latvian buck?

You're using jingoism to prove some point.

Even Mexicans would rather have a US buck, as it's likely to be worth nearly the same the next day, the next week, the next year (or, it WAS).

Mexican currency speculators make bets both ways every day.

Compared to other world currencies, especially the Euro, the US dollar appears to be headed the same way.

If you mean decline in value, that is the consensus view. We shall see.
