The coast of Wales is a desolate place. Nantucket is not. In fact it's probably the most expensive real estate in New England and home to a large tourist industry including thousands of yachtsmen (most of whom are rich Republicans).

The desolate coast of Wales definitely has far fewer migratory birds than the Nantucket sound. Plus very few yachtsmen. On Nantucket many of the wetlands and moors have been very well preserved. It's a huge mecca for migratory birds.

If you have a problem with it though, write Mitt Romney. He stopped it. Not Kennedy.

How about a wind farm off the coast of Kennebunkport? The "environmental president" Bush should support that.

Bottomline, tough to do wind farms in high populated areas, in migratory bird pathways or right next to extremely expensive real estate. But there re millions of acres across the country which would be perfect.
