Plus, don't forget...Saddam has been in Legal custody since he was captured. The Iraqi's asked the Americans to keep him in their physical custody because they knew the Americans would take good care of him, and would shoot anyone who tried to capture him.

That's why the Americans did not give Saddam to the Iraqis until just before the execution, although they would have if the Iraqis wanted him. I posted an article earlier today that told of this....The Iraqis did not want anyone from either inside or outside of Iraq to try to capture him.....

The Iraqis are the ones that were in charge of timing...not the Americans. If the Muslims have anything to say to the Iraqi Muslims, well then, they certainly can.

Don't forget. Iraq has their own government now. Thanks to the Americans and their coalition partners. No thanks to many countries in the world.
