Rydex Funds curious aspect.
The TOTAL assets of all their funds (bear and bull) plus MoneyMart are at their LOWEST level since in 2003.
Plus this has been in relentless down trend since July ,2006.
The Bull Fund assets are at their lowest since in 2003 and far below what they were in November, 2005.
Also Cumulative cash flow into Bull Funds FAR below what they were in November,2005.
Bear Funds have been acting as one would expect, the total assets are dropping sharply with Cumulative cash flow also dropping sharply during this 5 month rally, but Bull Funds the Cumulative cash flow as been dropping at a rate the makes the Bull Total Assets just up mildly.
In short over the the time of this rally more people are taking profits than joining in as new money.
hmmmm.
