the thread has been busy debating some geopolitical points, and some folks decided to play the racism card early on in what otherwise would have been a perfectly sensible discussion

this is not unexpected, and is actually quite typical

now, post energetic discussion, we move on, until the relevant issues arise in the news flow, eventually, necessitating yet another discussion

i do not have a good feeling about the trend line of all issues discussed

the ethiopian proxy attack in somalia is the latest manifestation of a global war of the religions, mixed in with resource objectives, and money flow
