The oil industry has become totally corrupt, esp. since the day they first applauded their "all oil ticket" of Bush-Cheney in June 2000. That week they nodded to Enron who took the lead in beginning the great fleecing of our country (and the world) by jacking up energy prices as much as 600%, and continuing almost non-stop until today.

The only three times they have brought down gasoline prices was:

1) When Jeffords switched parties giving Dems subpeona powers
2) When oil CEO's were hauled before congress (but turns out it was all for show, no action by the Delay congress)
3) And when the GOP fell 20% behidn DEms leading into this recent election.

Now they are already putting out the word. Expect $3 gas again come February. Why? Because they say so, that's why. No other reason. They control the supply and articifially manipulate it whenever they want. Prince Bandar offered to bring down the prices before the 2004 election. We read that quote. So we know they do it, can do it, and DO control the prices reghardless of their lies. They are also at war with environmental sanity including clean fuels, with the exception of a few progressive oil companies like BP which bows to pressure from the green-friendly Euros. Time for us all to back a thorough investigation and re-regulation of the energy sector. They have forfeited the right to ever be trusted on the honor system again.

PS: By supporting Gore and Kerry, you ARE supporting clean fuels advancement becausde those leaders would take us bthere. Bush-cheney have blocked every attempt to do so on a national level. Basically, Bush-Cheney work for Exxon and the big polluters. They really do believe pollution = prosperity, a big fat lie.
