Cindy Sheehan lost custody of her son when he was very young (e.g. 3 years old). Her son was raised by her ex-husband and his new wife.

Does anyone know why Cindy Sheehan lost custody of her son?

It is unusual for the mother to loose custody of her son, particularly if she wanted custody.

There is probably an interesting story here and I have no idea what went on.
