I continue to see insufficient reason why Intel's 45nm should be as much a boost as those roadmaps presume. We'll see.

65nm Core2 runs at 3GHz now, and I see no reason it won't do 3.33GHz within the same TDP in the next 6 months.

From there, a 3.8GHz part (say) @ 45nm represents only a 15% clock increase.
