Y2K bug

In a curious throwback to the fears about Y2K, the space agency wanted to get Discovery back on solid ground before the calendar flipped over to 2007 to avoid possible computer glitches in space.

While the ISS was busy hosting shuttles, it also experienced its share of glitches. A Russian Progress cargo ship docking was delayed after questions about an antenna that was unintentionally deployed.

The station's gyroscopes continued to act up and, while Atlantis was docked, there was a tiny leak of potassium hydroxide onboard.
