Saddam was a pipsqueak, a nobody - just another lunatic from the Middle East who didn't have a thing to do with 9/11. He was a bogey-man to Bush because he was his father's bogey-man - frankly to me, thats kind of a pathetic response to something as monumental as 9/11. Truth is Saddam's death is a non event.

Heres the real story from today and the one that should truly concern us: The military reported the deaths of six more American troops, making December the deadliest month this year for U.S. forces in Iraq.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those responsible for 9/11 still alive and well somewhere on the Pak/Afgani border?

If we hunted down and killed or captured Osama Bin Laden and El-Zarwkowi I would call that an excellent use of the country's resources. I would also call that logical. Personally I am still trying to figure out why we have expended so much on Saddam when it was Bin Laden that attacked us. To my mind, knowing what we know now, seeing Bin Laden's head on stick - that should have been job one.

We have exchanged 3000 American lives and counting, 22,000 maimed and injured and counting, plus massive treasure for Saddam's (the destruction of Iraq and loss of Iraqi lives we don't care about so we don't count that) - is that what you are celebrating?

Saddam is dead but I say "where's the beef Bush??????"
