Romney and Bush are more elitist than Kennedy and Kerry. The Kennedys were Catholic outcasts in WASP New England. They weren't allowed into any of the clubs the Bushes belong to. Kerry was not born with any money, just a rich aunt. He volunteered for combat in Vietnam, something elitist Bushies never do. Romney is old money and Bush is the most elite WASP old money family in the nation.

I know John Kerry. He doesn't have a snobbish bone in his body.
I would trust him with my life and you should too. The Kennedy brothers were also not snobs. Though some of their kids have been, until they learned better. I grew up in Boston with all of these people so I know. I know half a dozen Kennedy kids, my best friend was very similar to the Bush kids and Kerry I know personally. Kerry is the least snobby of any of them. And both Kennedy and Kerry are for raising taxes on the rich to start paying off Bush's mammoth deficits. That is not something rich selfish snobs (like the Bushes) are for.

Bush's whole twang, evangelical and cowboy act are practiced, deliberate play-acting. They're not real. There's nothing remotely average or downhome about him. He went to Andover, Yale and Harvard. If you think so you are a total sucker. Nobody has more elitist roots than Bush, and he has never rejected them.
