U Picks ...

Neither ERA.AX or DML is a "junior," but they ought to be in a uranium portfolio, along with Cameco.
Here are all the U stocks I watch carefully; I own most of them:

Cash Minerals (CHX.V): good initial showing at Lumina propery in the Yukon. Follow-up drilling indicates U mineralization, but perhaps not the breathtaking grades earlier samples had suggested. Drill results from Igor are still pending. Field work is suspended until spring time so after the next results, may be a while before any catalysts for news.
Commander Resources (CMD.V): Work is underway at the Hermitage property in Newfoundland. Very early days here, the company has an excellent land position, but it is going to take some time to explore it. They also have a Baffin Island gold property that looks fairly interesting.
Energy Fuels (EFR.V): EFR.V was the top-performing uranium stock on the TSX in 2006, maybe even the best performer of any stock on the TSX. Who would want to buy a stock after it's run from a dime to four bucks? Well, I bought Aurelian at six and change and never regretted that decision. EFR.V is worth serious consideration, imo. Their web site is horrible, but I believe that will get some attention soon. If you look beyond that, to the quality of the management team, I think you'll see why they are a contender. This is a near-term producer that has fully-permitted properties in the US that should start production in 2007. Look for a milling deal to be announced in Q1. Stock has consolidated nicely and looks like it is ready to roll.
Forum Uranium Corp (FDC.V): Forum has an excellent position in the Athabasca and Thelon Basins. Dr. Boen Tan is their head geologist and has deep experience and a track record of exploration success in the Athabasca. What differentiates Forum from many of the other AB juniors is that they are looking for relatively shallow deposits. They've gotten some promising whiffs from the Key Lake area and the Maurice Point area that are on opposite ends of the Basin from each other. Looking for more exploration results fairly soon and follow-on work in both of these areas through the year. Thelon looks to have good potential as well, but could be some time before we know what's there. Excellent management team, headed by Rick Mazur, low-key, business-like, focused...
Nova Uranium (NUC.V): Lots of folks are still changing their dressings on this one. Ouch. However, they are on the verge of releasing results from their Mont Laurier property in Quebec, if the trading is any indication. Initial drilling on the property was predicated on a misunderstanding of the structures. The second round was conducted after they realized that they should be looking for vertical dykes, not a horizontal formation parallel to the surface. They have found at least six dykes on the property by now and we should have a better idea soon to what extent they are uranium-bearing. I took a pretty hefty loss on my first go-round but bought back in after re-considering the story based on the re-interpretation of the structure. Should know soon if that was a bonehead or egghead move.
Pitchstone Exploration (PXP.V): These guys have some small chunks of land but in very good neighborhoods in the Athabasca Basin. They were relatively early to the area and were able to grab some good ground. Should know more in 2007 about what is under it. They also have a JV with Cameco in Gabon, so that says something about what the 800 pound gorilla in the space thinks of the company. I like their IR guy, Dan Barnholden.
Strathmore Minerals (STM.V): Still my single largest U position. Hasn't performed as well as I had expected in 2006, but will hopefully make up for lost time in 2007. They have some 43-101 resources and some historical resources. Lots of properties in New Mexico, Wyoming and the Athabasca. Strong management team with deep industry experience and lots of dough in the bank.
Titan Uranium (TUE.V): I have exposure to Titan through Dejour but don't own it outright anymore. They had a tough time this season and nothing seemed to go right for them at their Castle properties in the Athabasca and also in the Thelon. I think they still have a good shot, with the combined Titan/Dejour footprint in the AB, they have improved their chances of making a discovery but the results from this year demonstrate how elusive an economic deposit (or ANY deposit, for that matter) can be.
Universal Uranium (UUL.V): I got high hopes for this one. Universal has cores in the lab from their Utah property in Lisbon Valley. LV was one of the most prolific areas for U production in its heyday. Mark Steen, son of Charlie Steen, is a consultant to the company and helped Universal secure the Utah property and more recently, some properties in Colorado. Charlie Steen was an explorer who put Lisbon Valley on the map for U production. UUL also has a good foothold in the Central Mineral Belt in Labrador, where companies like Aurora have had some major success. Work is ongoing there now, so between pending results from Lisbon Valley and the potential for another discovery in CML, 2007 could be a big year for them.
Uranium Power Corp (UPC.V): UPC is a couple of years away from production, which puts them in the near-to-medium term producer category. I bought the company with the expectation that they will be acquired by sxr, but there's no guarantee there. Makes sense, but doesn't mean it will happen.
Good luck!

Good luck on your picks.
