You knew that Ike missed the bowl after checking himself into alcoholic rehab: once a player get that stigma attached to him I think his future as a Hokie is going to be dim. As many problems as we have had, I think the coaches are especially cautious ( and rightly so ) about whom they get at the qb spot.

For all his on-field miscues one thing you can say about Glennon is that his off field reputation is squeaky clean.
