Fine, but life is a constant battle against false ideas which lead to waste and carnage. Such as: <if we don't limit the wealth (and power which is proportional to wealth) of the capitalists, then they involve the country in wars of plunder, they restrain progress of us all by cutting funds for education, health, scientific research etc.>
When I think of those with great wealth:
$ill Gates Warren Buffett Irwin Jacobs Larry Ellison etc etc down the Rich List
I don't see anyone starting wars or even encouraging them. $ill and Warren are creating the biggest charitable trust in human history, with umpty $billion. They are killing malaria, defeating AIDS, solving such problems on a grand scale if they achieve their goals.
Governments, on the other hand, who dispose of the income such people have earned, waste it at best, and actively destroy at worst.
King George II, who enjoys the biggest tax base in human history, conquered Iraq and is currently enmeshed in a death-dealing MADness.
The wealthy encourage <progress of us all by cutting funds for education, health, scientific research >
On the contrary, the wealthy pay for scientific research, health research, and fund a lot of education [check out university endowments for example, not to mention in-house education on a vast scale].
If governments didn't take the money, waste a whole lot of it, then hand back some in ill-considered "education" and "health", the public could spend their own money on their own health and get the results they want rather than the lack of results that governments foist on them.
Meanwhile, 2007 is here and Bangkok is being bombed, as I expected. Thailand has been altogether too peaceful. Moslems form a ring of fire and death around the big rock in Mecca.
