Everyone is becoming a uranium junior. Some are for real....others are just tacking on the word "uranium" to their name and exploring moose pasture with uneconomical uranium. As this bull kicks into gear even some pretenders will do very well, though some won't.
By no means an exclusive list, just a few suggestions, I'm still becoming familiar with the sector............
EFR.........2007 producer. Big 2006 runup to $5, consolidating just above $4 now, may soon be ready to move back up. Among safer junior plays. Despite big runup, still good upside.
TEL........has Pinetree backing and promotion. Has yet to prove itself worthy, though it may well do so. Wouldn't buy just now, wait for good news to provide reason to enter. Could be lots of news, will be well promoted. How good is the company? I don't know, have to see how it plays out.
WRI.........strong share action late last week. Under-promoted. Big land package in Canada. JV with UMN, a recent IPO for UMN. News soon. In fact, lots of uranium juniors will have January news. Should be very active month.
BRD.......75% of 44 million lbs. historical resource in Colorado (JV with Energy Metals Corp). Also a JV in Mongolia with Uranerz. Pinetree backing. January news coming.
ULU.......lots of recent action......few shares OS. Small PP last Friday. Should close in about a week, maybe two, followed very quickly by expected good drill results on property near TVC in Slovakia, who has a good amount of uranium.
There are many more........look at JNN, NUC, PTU and others. This is just a starting point. |
