I was researching places to go in Mexico a couple years ago and came across it. I have the Moon Handbook also, and believe I read about it there. From what I hear, the weather is great. Cool evenings, warm days. There are quite a number of American expats that live down there. Rincon de Guyabitos is another interesting place.
