Well... whomever originated the concept of putting Democracy, human rights, rule of law, Capitalism, etc., front and center as strategic objectives for America to achieve and help bring-about throughout the entire world --- whether it was Bush II, a band of 'neo-cons', Carter, or even President Wilson --- I AGREE with the principle.
Only important question that remains then is WHAT mix of tactics can have the greatest success in achieving that long-term strategic goal.
What actually WORKS (is most effective, best rate of success, most cost/effective, least negative or harmful effects to us, etc.) |
