There is *NO* shortage of DUV grade quartz whatsoever!!!!

Excess availabilty of quartz is being brought into the pipeline. Manufacturers of quartz have had plenty of lead time to plan for production requirements of quartz and are doing so. Corning GLW will have a brand new quartz production facility ready to deliver additional quantities of quartz in the 1st quarter 1998. Stock nerd your inside source knows his business.

Corning's press release says: initial production
targeted before the end of the first quarter in 1998

If you call Corning to order DUV grade quartz they will be happy to fill *all* production level requirements. you can order Corning quartz by calling here: Customer Service Contact: 607-974-7597. Morgan Witter's analyst never even called.

Morgan Stanley Dean Witter's analyst is grasping at straws to try and shakeout shares that are needed to cover a huge short interest by its clients and trading desk. Ask yourself this. Does Dean Witter and Montgomery make any money by saving investors money through charitable research information giving? Answer: No.

It is becoming known and talked about that the *wrong* rumormongering on CYMI is a blatant attempt to shakeout scarce shares.

Morgan Dean Witter's analyst is secretly still just as bullish about CYMI as he was 20 days ago when he wrote this: Deahna said Cymer should
report earnings per share in line with or better than
estimates for the quarter ending Sept. 30.

The note goes on to say that "we are extremely bullish
on shipments."

Interesting to note that neither Morgan Witter nor Montgomery so much as mention the new ASM Lithography/Huyndai $170 million deal. It didn't fit into their predictions or misdirection. Also, they didn't mention CYMI's customer's dramatic ramping up of production plans. Like ASMLF's new facilities to ramp up to 450 stepper production. ASMLF's press release: new premises offers the
potential to increase the manufacturing capacity to a
level of 450 steppers per year, within a timeframe of six
months

Morgan Witter and Montgomery will mention these things when they come out with their revised "strong buy" opinions.

The way to hit back at this BS is to take physical delivery of your shares or have your broker put your shares into a separate cash account and not a margin account where they are being lent out to the shorts.

Good Luck To Each And All

PS: More good news will be coming soon. Stay tuned.
