The best returns are obtained by entrepreneurs and risk takers. I know real estate best and this next cycle will be one of the best ones yet for those who have the knowledge and work hard at it. All it takes is one or two little niches to aggressively pursue to double your money constantly within 24 months with little risk. Very few people average outlandish returns consistently in the stock market with buy and hold. 1982 to 1999 with the great expansion in multiples and drop in interest rates will not happen again for a very long time.. If you are in a nonbubble RE market you don't even have to be an active player as all it would take is some good rental property that you properly manage but at the right price with proper fixed rate financing to generate 30% annual IRR over a 10-15 year period and have a nice next egg at the back end. If reflation takes off you will really hit the jackpot.. Only the best to you and yours..
