Hope you weren't planning on going skiing today. Snowslide blocks U.S. Highway 2 Seattle Times staff A snowslide is blocking both lanes of Highway 2 at the Stevens Pass summit. The slide, which occurred at 7:30 this morning, has stopped eastbound traffic at Scenic and westbound at the summit. The road is closed from milesposts 58 to 64. The state Department of Transportation doesn't know when the road may be reopened.
