Let 'em starve, the worthless SOBs. Do you think someone who wins a $10 million lottery when he is 30 and ends up broke when he is 65 deserves social security benefits? In other words, are people who take care of themselves responsible for people who had the opportunity but didn't take care of themselves when the latter group turns old? You're unbelieveable. You too drank the koolaid hook, line and sinker. Shit happens! Things don't always work out the way you think they will. I was really fortunate that I was able to save a lot of money during my twenties.....otherwise I'd be in big trouble now. Not everyone is in that position. Do you think Michael J. Fox expected to get Parkinson's before he was 40? Wonder if he had been a factory worker instead of a well known actor. He would be up the financial creek right now without a paddle. There is nothing wrong with safety nets in a wealthy country that can afford it.
