The political bickering about the USA media is not the point of the discussion.

The question is... Was Saddam Hussein the USA's "boy" in Iraq? There has been several widely quoted stories about his involvement with the CIA from the start of his journey to power.

We know the CIA sponsored that other well known terrorist "Tim Osman", can we add Saddam to the list?

Unless you came down with yesterdays rain, the question is about oil.

It's all about oil no matter whether it's China, the USSR, France, Britain or even the lil 'ol USA doing the influencing.

The idea that the USA has had negligible historical influence in Iraq is laughable.
