Unfortunately that was the least important aspect of the story. The point of the story is that way too many people in this country live from paycheck to paycheck and are one mistake away from the street. You don't have to worry about that because you could make several mistakes and still not end up on the street. However, I don't have your luxury.....I am maybe two or three mistakes away from the street. And that's not necessarily my fault. Circumstances are such that we all have differing prospects. Some of those circumstances are due to us but many of them are not. The guy in question was also very trusting. I don't know why......I was never that trusting. Last nite, it worked for him but I suspect it has hurt him in the past. If you believe in God, then I suspect you believe we have lessons to learn in this life. If so, then his lessons are different from mine and yours for whatever reason. What I do know is that he does not deserve to live in the street........I am not sure anyone does......not in this county not in this century.
