Does not seem likely that CPU prices will drop much, even at AMD.

To draw this conclusion from SIA forecast (let alone from sparse excerpts in the articles) is adventurous. I talked to a chap from SIA involved in the forecast couple weeks ago, he said they expect declining CPU-ASP as a driver for sales growth going forward, considering most of the unit growth comes from China and India. ;)
