Re: According to Yahoo, Intel's revenue estimate for Q4 is 9.45B, a 7% DROP from 10.2B in Q4 of 2005...So it looks to me that the "analysts" are predicting significant Y/Y microprocessor revenue declines for both Intel and AMD, while CEA said sales were up 4.3%. Even if the CEA numbers are for UNITS, I find an 8% revenue decline to be unbelievably pessimistic.

Not too hard to believe after looking at last quarter.

Intel's revenues in Q3 06: down 12% from Q3 05.
PC growth in Q3 06: up 7.9% from Q3 05.

...they are predicting $1.85B, but, after subtracting 0.65B for ATI...

I think ~$650 million will be generous for ATI's contribution considering all of the reports of lost market share in chipsets and graphics. According to AMD's Analyst Day slides ATI only accounted for $517 million in revenue in Q3 (slides #141 and #142). I am guessing AMD's revenue minus ATI will be at least $1.3 billion.
