So... you think that Clinton/Obama will be the Dem ticket, and McCain/Rice will be the Rep ticket? (If those were the two tickets, I'd have to predict a pretty big win for the McCain ticket --- under one assumption --- that he isn't still trying to sell the 'send MORE troops to Iraq' line into 2008. That would be the only thing that could tilt the election away from his ticket. However, I don't believe he will be still singing that tune all into 2008. Most likely Bush's early 2007 'surge' will have failed to change the dynamics on the ground, thus that option will have been found politically lacking, and McCain will be able to say 'that's been tried, so now we do something else'.)
