Well, they had to drag Ney kicking and screaming out of congress (stayed after indicted to collect his paycheck). Duke Cunningham hung on as long as he possibly could...Foley only quit after the news was out about his "trysts". Hastert should be gone, but isn't. Only Delay left voluntarily. And I wonder how he feels about that decision now. If he is not guilty, why leave? And if he left to not give the democrats a target, it didn't work. They didn't need it. And his formerly safe seat was lost. Wonder how the lobbying is going for Tom.

Now, the democrats are bad too....but please don't hold the republicans up as some kind of paragons because they cleaned the stables. They didn't. Not until the guns were almost literally to their heads.
