Watch the Secretary of the Treasury........it is possible some common ground on Social Security and Medicare reforms might be worked out in the next year. Paulson is a no-nonsense behind the scenes master planner. With a little horse-trading SS could be secured for decades and then put to the side. Medicare is the real crisis, which nobody seems really interested in dealing with..or even talking about
