The two things that he did.....that really will be remembered is his pardon of Nixon. This was unforgivable. This man was a disgrace. He bombed Cambodia without authorization. Lied about it. And then he is responsible for Watergate.. He also served on the Warren Commission which white washed the death of President Kennedy. That was another blunder imo.. Otherwise Mary you did point out the most positive sides.. AND not to just criticize but he did have some very fine qualities...as you point out. Thanks for the post in response to my question.
