That's what I thought too. They said they only way they could pre-approve you was to have filled out an application or gotten credit using your SS# I said he was 8 and the only people that had his SS# was the school. After that, he got a Texas I.D. number and has used it for school ever since. I don't know who gave out his number but if I ever caught up with them, they will have wished I hadn't.
