NATO is only having so much trouble today in Afghanistan because WE didn't go in there with sufficient troops and money to get the job done in the first place. The Bush Administration was too busy planning for the invasion of Iraq to care about Afghanistan. We never really secured the country other than Kabul. If we had put everything needed into Afghanistan, then we could have solidified our bond with Mushariff in Pakistan and gotten rid of the Taliban and their Al Queada friends all together. It WASN'T the American Left that let bin Laden and his lieutenant set up shop in Pakistan along with Omar and his Taliban. It was BUSH and Rumsfeld.
