Just reporting a post. I did not make up or create the data: I presume that you have concerns over the term 'bottom line'?

(From the 10K--I am unable to copy the data from the 10K, page 54, perhaps someone else knows how)

yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com

Net sales and Macintosh unit sales by operating segment and net sales and unit sales by product follow (net sales in millions and unit sales in thousands):

Line item:

Other music related products and services (d)

(9/30/06) Change (9/24/05) Change (9/25/04)
1,885 110 % 899 223 % 278

and footnote:
(d) Consists of iTunes Store sales, iPod services, and Apple-branded and third-party iPod accessories

Ergo: the 2006 AAPL 10K reports

Net Sales of
Other music related products and services
$1,885 million

My meager math skills say that $1,885 million equates to $1.885 billion.

Your problem is probably with the "bottom line" as quoted in the article. Good point. And I believe that my point is valid, also: $1.885 billion in revenue is not chump change.
