I wonder if anyone with the authority and ability to act will do more than provide lip service to global warming until the top 1% of the world in terms of wealth get their coastal McMansions and income generating properties flooded to the extent they can no longer get insurance coverage.

I very much like the weather I'm getting up here in the great green North at 450 feet above sealevel. If this is global warming I'm all for it :-)

So they don't want mines eh?,...let the bastards freeze in the dark.
