Well Koan, only partially kidding.. I realise that mosquito example was tad flip <ng>

Now we are to reduce emissions to reduce the greenhouse gases we produce... OK. Now tell me in light of the past temperatures on the planet that this warming is not inevitable with or without us.. (Yes we are exacerbating the problem) But whining about emissions may cloud the real issue and yes ..
around present sea levels and didn't take into account a huge rise in sea levels

We may need to fix that anyway... Think of it as an opportunity.. Would be nice to see farmland return to southwestern Ontario instead of the concentrated massive urban sprawl.. I was just working from home on a 2 clients in my city and one in neighbouring London.. Could be London England for that matter.. Maybe we should be proactive and spread out... Many small cities in Ontario and Quebec have already built out wireless highspeed internet.. we have satellite tv..

So yes I mean to be a bit provocative .. there are things in heaven and earth more powerful than man.. like nature.. we may have to adapt regardless.. Frankly I welcome the reduction of emissions as the air quality in cities sucks. Lung cancer in Canada is up some 20% in non-smokers (The rate is stable is smokers, higher but stable LOL)

Parts of Huxley's Brave New World are quite enticing...
