Action Products said it had previously projected in July increased earnings and reduced sales for
the second half of the year.
The company noted that sales gains are being achieved despite the discontinuation of its
distribution business, resulting in the slashing of thousands of individual products from its
educational product lines, and despite its sales shortfalls in the first quarter of this year.
In last year's third quarter, the company reported earnings of $53,404, or $0.04 a share, on sales
of $1.46 million. Fourth quarter sales totaled $937,606, resulting a loss of $612,876, or $0.40 a
share, including a charge of $0.32 a share.
Action Products anticipates releasing its third quarter results no later than the week of October 27.
Don't say you were not given the opportunity to buy cheap.
