This is just the beginning! They've attacked the drinkers and then the smokers. Next will be the overweight. As people slim down, they will be turned against the ones that didn't. Airlines are already talking about the extra fuel that's used because there are so many overweight passengers and (I think it's) Southwest that's charging overweight people more for a ticket. One southern state has it's schools sending notes to the parents if their children are too plump. It's just a matter of time before parents will be cited for child abuse. Mark my words - it's only the beginning! Remember, the anti-smoking thing started in the '60's with a simple warning label on tobacco products. Shortly, people will be made aware of how their insurance rates are going up because of fat people, how they are the cause of the price increase at the lunch buffet, how they are a hazard on the workplace because they move too slow during an evacuation, etc., etc. It will be acceptable to treat them like lepers, telling them how disgusting they look, and insulting them in general - just the way they do now with smokers. I know it sounds crazy, but who would have believed a glass of wine with dinner would warrant a $4,000 DUI or a law stating that you can't smoke in your own car if accompanied by a minor?
