re: As contest rules only allow one revision, others might want to wait for warnings to come. ;)

If your entry is from the Early of Mid-Q contest then you can submit a 'new entry' rather than use up a revision (if you wish -- your choice). If you choose 'new entry' just remember to submit all new numbers cuz your old entry will be discarded and your entry will be based exlusively on the new data (i.e. don't leave any blanks).

Also, if there are any company warnings all the revisions are reset so that everyone again has a revision available to them.

Of course in either case (new entry vs. revision) you lose your bonus, which is as it should be. :)

re: Oh and just for clarification: Can your confirm AMDs acquisition-related charge in the quarter not considered for the eps-contest-entry?

As has been the case for quite some time, the EPS category does not exclude anything. In other words:

"Whatever they report on their Consolidated Statement of Operations under Net income per common share (diluted), that is the number we will use for the EPS category. This reported number may or may not include share dilution for the purchase, one-time charges, the impact of ATI's business, etc., etc., etc. Good luck!"
