Bush just lied about cutting the deficits in half. First of all, he doesn't count war costs. Second of all he uses an artificial huge projected deficit he himself made 5 years ago as the benchmark.

It's like a Police Chief predicting 1000 murders and when there are only 500 he boasts he cut murders in half. It's total BS. The fact is Bush is the biggest deficit spender in US history, more than all previous presidents combined.

What a liar Bush is. And his tax cuts are only helpful to people at the very top, as well as being budget-busters. He also fired half the IRS lawyers whose specialty is going after mega-rich tax evaders. The message is, if you're rich and don't want to pay, we won't make you.
