Reid is also very ethical. Neither he nor Pelosi have ever had any significant ethics violations. Nor will they. Though from Nevada, a hotbed of corruption, Reid is known as a real honest square. He cracked down on casino corruption in Nevada and helped make Vegas a relatively honest place. He was a capitol policeman before he was a politician. Very law-abiding and tough. Also a self-made man and a former prize-fighter.

The rightwing has been busy lying about Reid, backed up by an article of two from the AP about a "suspicious" land deal and a supposed Abramoff connection. Indeed, there's nothing corrupt about any of it. Reid took zero dollars from Abramoff. The land deal was legit, just put under a partner's name. The price of real estate everywhere in the west doubled during that period. So he made a profit. Big deal. So did anyone who bought and sold during that time period.

Pelosi has no ethics issues. She had a staffer who took a $5000 trip to Asia. Big deal. That's cheap. Delay regularly took $100,000+ trips paid for by Abramoff pal foreign lobbyists, then he went to work for them, including promoting slavery and forced abortions. There is no comparison to crooks like DElay.

Pelosi has made sure she's clean as a whistle and will remain so.
