I suppose it has totally escaped your attention that the only time this has happened in our history is when the "haves" backed the Republicans and, once they took total control, started looting the treasury to placate their unyielding needs and desires? Almost $5 trillion dollars in the past 6 years has been a lot of placating... But, hey. At least it wasn't your dreaded "havenots".
