I am highly interested in this topic, from an alternative energy perspective. It seems to me that Govts around the World are going to have to address the greenhouse gas issue sooner rather than later because all the signs are that global warming is accelerating. Don't be surprised if we start to see panic stations within the next five years.

For now, I believe the best bet is on an increased use of nuclear energy Worldwide. Because there is already a looming uranium shortage, which will be exacerbated by the growth in the number of reactors around the World, I have already moved some of my assets into uranium mining stocks and will be moving some more over this year. I will also be switching a (smaller) portion of my assets into "new energy" such as wind and solar, once I have done some more research.

As far as I am concerned, it is global "heating", not "warming" that we should be worried about. It may already be too late -- personally, I suspect we are all already fu**ed :-(.

I will not be investing in any real estate in Florida or the Gulf Coast..............
