Just Demographics. Every single hot spot is a place where the resources no longer sustain the population. Palestine/Israel Horn of Africa India Pakistan Indonesia etc etc In the past demographics was solved by two means: 1) war and the killing of the men in reproduction age. Today there is not this sheer killing and weeded out of population that cannot be sustained in a given reason. 2) Mass migration and diasporas. Today it is not possible to move people into countries that are hogging land: Canada could get a good 110 million. Australia a good 150 million. The US another 200 million. Brazil another 150 million.
