On the contrary not humiliating, but enlightning. sacrifice yes but with cause and purpose, self abuse? I prefer to believe a good work ethic to be healthy rather than an exercise in self destruction. Rich? is not the issue. Price of dignity and self respect? these have more to do with your code of conduct and values. Bill gates, he would hardly be in a position to make contributions to some of the world's poorest had he chose to be a grocery clerk. Does his current activities result is lost dignity and self respect? I think not.
