I don't interpret the mid term results that way ..

I think it's less about what the Dems may or may not
have to offer than it was a loss of confidence
signal to Bush et al in pursuing the status quo
in Iraq .. How the neocons can spin that into support
far a 'surge' tactic; with what? 10K extra troops;
is beyond me ..
