Yes, I have praised the USA. There are lots of excellent things about the USA. But one doesn't have to be a mindless sycophant. I'm not spending my life with people I obviously don't like. Where did you get such a silly idea?

<You seem to find fault with most everything our country does>

Try not to be such an extremist. Things aren't all black and white K. Some things are good, some things are bad. Same as everywhere.

<And then when we finally get fed up, and deal with the murdering b******, you and those like you call US the murderers?>

My Lai. Hiroshima. Haditha. Genocide. What would you call it?

You seem to completely miss my points. It's like a piece of 4 x 2 is needed to get them across.

Do you not understand, really, that Lt Calley did something much worse than that for which Saddam was hung? Do you really and truly not get that? Are you serious? Don't just skip by the point. STOP! Read the point. Think what it means. Try hard. You should NOT be surprised that American soldiers are not welcomed with garlands and offers of marriage when they do more of the same in Iraq.

Hiroshima was genocide. It was mass killing of a whole city, not even separating male Kurds from female, to get the opposition to surrender. Surely you can understand that. It's called total war. That's what Saddam has been involved with pretty much all his life and that's how he made it too. But he separated men from women and children [usually, or when convenient at least].

<why do you seem to think the US citizens are like the few who are really rotten apples in the barrel? > Got a clip? That would be interesting. Where did I suggest that?

Why did Saddam hang if Lt Calley didn't? The reason is that he was on "our side". Saddam's hanging crime was much less than Calley's pardoned crime.

Raybon Kan here. He's great: stuff.co.nz
