Accusing me of being a Holocaust Denier is a bit odd Nadine. Heck, if you were a witness and we were in Austria, I could be gaoled. Which is quite amusing when you think that such civil liberty suppression is done in the home of Adolf, the perp. The Austrians/Germans just can't seem to help themselves! What's funny, is that they don't see it.
I must say though, that the 6,000,000 is a very round number. I know Germans are orderly, but getting it just right is odd. Maybe it was really 5,999,999. Or, oh, how about 3,141,592? That's still a lot of people. There is obviously some scope for just how many were involved [not that I'm much interested in historical events]. What matters more is where we go from here.
Maybe there is a Holocaust Inquisition Authority which determines the precise number of those killed. Heretics are hanged! To ensure freedom of course. We must maintain freedom to adhere to the truth.
It was interesting when I went to the Holocaust museum in Washington in 1999, that all the identification passes were men. I questioned that at the time. I forget the answer and what they do now. I had a look through lots of them. I think somebody [maybe you] explained that they have all sorts now.
Incidentally, do you think Holocaust deniers should be in gaol?
