Clinton produced a very real surplus of 235 billion in 2001. And a smaller 100 billion surplus the year before. And a small surplus the year before that. The last time we'd had surpluses was during JFK's term in 1961. Anyone who tells you CLinton's surpluses weren't real is a bald-faced liar.

Bush quickly reversed Clinton's surpluses and turned them into the biggest deficits in history, which he is totally lying about now, claiming he cut the deficits in half.

Wrong. Bush simply did only half the worst-case scenario but didn't include war costs so the real deficit is probably still around a half trillion per year. And the longer we keep Bush's tax cuts for the rich the biggest the deficits get.
