Storm: If we win Saturday(we get only a 6 day break--another downer) it would be a major upset , imo.
The odds maker i am sure will put Saints in as maybe a 7 point favorite once Sheperd is officially is out.
No one replaces Lito--Hood was burned by Burress right after Lito went out.
Lito may simply be the best CB in football, and he is out.
Outside of Dawkins or Westbrook, Lito was the last player we could lose given Brees and a truckload of talent to throw to.
i watched Saints annihilate Giants on Giants homefield just a few weeks ago, 30-7.
They were awesome on offense, as they were awesome against Dallas.
I can not comprehend winning without Lito.
How can we win, we must dominate the clock with long time consuming drives and our front 7 must play the best game of the season.
What must result is team realizes fact loss of Lito is major, and as a result they MUST, each individual must raise their game to the highest level.
In short for Eagles to win they will have played a great game on both sides of the ball.
Saints will have a great and super loud crownd, Saints will be super charged, they now feel like they the post Katrina team of Destiny.
If they win, they would then be the greatest team in Saint history, believe it or not, as i do not think they have ever one a playoff game. Let the game be tight, and anything can happen---- Eagles need a plus 2 in turnovers to win i suspect.
i am HOPING for major upset, Eagles win, but am predicting Saints are going to be in the Super Bowl with a shot to win. |
