If the objective is to subdue and secure Baghdad, I agree.

We cannot handle real war. We need to be threatened to the degree that we will lose our SAT TVs and GAS for months on end before we get it. There will come a time, no power, random crime by roving gangs and so on, then we will get it and get back to basics. We are just to durn comfortable!! As for Petraeus, in my estimation the worst thing that has happened.
