The budget deficit, in turn, has fallen by $165 billion in two years,

Funny math...the national debt has been doubled in 6 years, the interest we pay alone is enough to fix SS and medicare, and this "un-biased" fellow finds the most benign figure to put in his editorial...a reduction from enormous deficit to just big now.

...despite $70 oil and $3 gasoline, and lately despite the worst housing slowdown in 15 years.

The dividend rate would snap back to 39.6% from 15%, the capital gains rate to 20% from 15%, and the top marginal income tax rate to 39.6% from 35%.

These few tid bits alone should tell you volumes why the average working joe is so miserable ... that is if you were paying attention or actually gave a sh_t.
